"Take care of all your memories. You cannot relive them."Â ~ Bob Dylan
Thanks, Bob. We’ll take it from here. Memories, absent Amnesia, Dementia, or Alzheimer's see us through the best and worst of times. Have you noticed how lost they feel without their memory? Our memories can ground us, remind us of our past and present, and even foreshadow the future.
Do Memories Have Value?
Yes, they do. Just ask the family managing the loss of a family member's memory. Our memories bind us to one another in a unique way. Losing one’s memory is not something we accept. The human spirit will fight to keep our memories alive in our brain’s memory:
Memory helps us better understand the present and model the future by building a framework for understanding the past.
Our memories define who we are and where we fit into society.
Our memories provide us with a biographical reference for our lives.
The memories from the past are used to help build the future.
Characteristic Traits are built on memories.
Exercise The Importance Of Your Memories
·     What would it mean to lose your understanding of what you did at a particular age?
·     Can you place a value on the moments shared with your children?
·     Is there value in your memories of the birth of those you love? The small voice of one of your children learning the value of love, kindness, or any of the other twenty-three character traits we learn to become adults.
Your memories of any significance are first of your family, then of school, the military, and probably work. Have you noticed that people with Amnesia, Dementia, or Alzheimer's seem lost because they don’t have their memories?
How Much Is A Memory Worth
Suppose we were talking about when someone took your lunch money in school, very little. However, it's PRICELESS if we’re talking about the sound of a child’s voice or when your father or mother puts their arms around you.
TinyTales can’t help with some important memories like births, weddings, graduations, and others. However, we can help when it comes to children.
We believe stories create shared moments that make memories. Memories that will last a lifetime. Our 100-word stories are written so that children learn the value of 25-character** traits that will help our children become successful adults. Here are the twenty-five traits our stories teach through text and images:Â Â Â Â Â Â

As we age, remembering how our children and grandchildren learn to be adults and our involvement makes for great memories for us, too.
We hope you’ll join us occasionally as we explore things we can do for children and grandchildren.
Till next time…

What lovely essay and right on the money. You can never know how valuable memories are to the rememberer and to those who love that person until the memories are lost. And just think of how popular nostalgia stories are. We're made from our memories in part. Nice one, DR
